Objective
We are studying how students engage in critical thinking when using ChatGPT to solve problems in organic chemistry.
Requirements
Be an undergraduate student
Be currently / previously enrolled in Organic Chemistry I (CHM 1321 / 1721) or an equivalent course
Have any amount of experience with ChatGPT (none is okay)
What will I be doing?
Attend an in-person study where you will complete a series of problem-solving tasks with and without ChatGPT (~1 hour).
Note: This study is only conducted in English.
Participate
All participants will receive a Research Participation Certificate and be entered into a draw for a chance to win 1 of 50 $10 Amazon gift cards.
