Myriam was recognized for building a more inclusive chemistry community at uOttawa

Myriam was recognized by uOttawa’s Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, OVPRI for her contributions to the uOttawa Canadians Working for Inclusivity in the Chemical Sciences (CWIC) chapter.

Over the past year, Myriam, along with co-chair Leah McMunn and other members of the uOttawa chemistry community, have worked on two EDI-driven initiatives: an inspiring student of the month campaign and an EDI-focused library and book club. These projects aim to foster a more inclusive environment, celebrate diversity within the scientific research community, and create opportunities for students to expand their knowledge on EDI topics.
