From left to right: Danica Zhang and Kadiatou Sall, the newest members of the Flynn Research Group.
Danica Zhang
Danica is a second-year Honours BSc Biomedical Science student at the University of Ottawa. In the Flynn Research Group, she is completing a USRO project on using educational tools to help students identify misinformation about mRNA vaccines. She is also a member of the HEPRU lab, where she is learning foundational wet-lab techniques and gaining hands-on experience working with participants in human trials.
Beyond her studies, Danica serves as an events representative and promotions ambassador for Learning for Charity at uOttawa. In her spare time, she loves discovering new music.
Kadiatou Sall
Kadiatou is a third-year undergraduate student in the French-language Biochemistry program at the University of Ottawa. Alongside her studies, she works as a tutor and in a clothing boutique. Both roles let her connect with others constantly, and she especially enjoys high-energy, collaborative spaces.
In her spare time, she dedicates herself to a lifelong love of reading, writing, and crocheting.
We’re excited to have Danica and Kadiatou bring their curiosity, energy, and collaborative spirit to the lab.
Welcome to the team, Danica and Kadiatou!
