Jacky presented at Pacifichem 2021
Jacky presented at Pacifichem 2021 in the Assessment for Employability in Undergraduate Chemistry Education symposium. Jacky's talk focused on his research looking at the relationship between students' language proficiency and how students justified chemical phenomena. You can read more about the work on ChemRxIV.
In addition to his talk, Jacky's abstract was also selected as a finalist for Pacifichem's Student Research Competition (pending results)!

Jacky published a paper on EDI in chemistry!
Jacky organized a recent publication in the Journal of Chemical Education focused on chemistry graduate student equity, diversity, and inclusion communities. The article describes various initiatives focused on enhancing EDI in chemistry departments across North America, grounding the impacts of these initiatives in literature on learning communities, community cultural wealth, and cultural change.
